Reference formats describe the contents, not a guaranteed manufacturing range. Finished dimensions, material grades and tolerances are agreed against your drawing and sample.
Carrying Requirements
Body width, height and gusset determine volume, while handle drop and mouth shape determine filling and carrying. A light promotional handout bag and a repeatedly loaded bag need different use assumptions. List contents and filled weight before choosing a fabric or decoration process; neither appearance nor category establishes load capacity.
Handle Attachment
Record handle material, width, length and reinforcement. A stitch outline is not a tested load rating. Assess fabric or non-woven material, seams and handles as one construction. Keep print clear of attachments and folds that obscure artwork. If the bag is supplied in several colours, review decoration contrast separately for each ground.
Load Testing
Place the planned contents inside and check opening access, base shape and grip. Inspect seams and attachment points before and after agreed handling checks. Approve retail folding and decoration contact. Reuse-life or carrying-weight claims require a defined method and results for the finished article, not extrapolation from material grammage.
Manufacturing & Assembly
Cut components and approved decoration are assembled with seams, closures and hardware. Fit and function are checked against the intended contents.

Packaging & Protection
Fold the body without forcing sharp creases through decoration. Lay handles neatly within the pack and check the agreed colour and size assortment.
Record the unit pack, pack quantity, carton dimensions and label positions. Check a packed sample with the intended contents before approving the shipment arrangement.

Can fabric gsm establish carrying capacity?
No. The load also passes through seams and handle attachments. Evaluate the finished construction before assigning a rating.
