Timing Scope
The existing published production indication is typically 7-30 days, subject to specification and order conditions. Confirm the applicable schedule for the actual project. Sample development, artwork approval and freight transit are separate activities unless the quotation says otherwise. A requested arrival date is not the same as an ex-factory or port departure date.
Approval Dependencies
Material selection, artwork files, tooling and components can become schedule dependencies. A dated planner also needs a fully checked calendar before printing. Assign owners to each approval and state when their input is needed. Leave time to resolve a fit or colour revision rather than assuming the first sample will be accepted without changes.

Inspection and Packing
Buyer-appointed inspection needs a scope and booking that matches production completion. Mixed assortments and retail sets require component matching and packing checks, which should appear in the schedule. Clarify how a failed inspection or a late packing revision affects release. Shipping should follow the agreed approval process rather than an assumed calendar deadline.

Schedule Changes
When quantity, artwork or construction changes, ask which completed operations are affected and obtain a revised milestone plan. Record the new specification and delivery commitment together. Seasonal products need particular attention because a delay can change their selling window. Discuss priorities by SKU if partial production or separate shipments are being considered.
